On the 5th to 8th of November Induna staff once again set off on their annual teambuild. Seeing that we are water lovers we made our way to the Blyde river canyon. For those of you who do not know, the Blyde canyon is the third biggest Canyon in the world. This is a flog nest for tourists. We took on the Blyde river on the tuesday. With new staff on the team, this soon became a rafting experience that few would forget. We were met with big rapids, and a lot of boat flips made good footage for the cameraman. After a long 5 hour paddle we arrived at the Wet camel over night camp at the mouth of the dam. This was a bit of a survivor setup, nothing we have not seen or done before.
The following morning we made our way down the dam and off to the Swadini Aventura resort to blow some steam off. Heaven on earth as we arrived just to be met by a mouth watering buffet. After the Induna staff had a go at the buffet the managment were getting a bit worried as we almost took all the food. The rest of the afternoon we were in the pool playing and relaxing just enjoying the African sun. That night we had Potjie kos a traditional African meal.
The night was young and the beds were calling. The following morning we were met with a great breakfast and some of us wandered around soaking up the wildlife in the resort.
We would just like to thank everybody that made this teambuild possible for us in our busy lifestyles and for all the effort that all added to the breakaway.

I love running.
I love running over mountains and scrambling through vegetation.
I love my bike.
I love maps.
I love reading maps.
I love making really cunning strategic decisions that work.
I love the sound of water; and the feel of adrenalin pumping when I hear a lot of water grumbling over rapids.
I love the freedom of adventure racing where life is reduced to its primary elements; eating, sleeping and progressing forward.
There's a lot of love happening here. And this isn't that surprising... adventure is not just about sport, it's about passion.
